Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using The Founder Coach (the "app", "service", "we", "us") you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

The Founder Coach is a personal productivity and coaching app. It helps you plan your day, track habits, generate routines and reflect on progress. The AI outputs are generated by third-party large language models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI Whisper). They are suggestions, not professional medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

4. Account & security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

5. Subscription & billing

• Founder Pro is £19.99 GBP per month (VAT extra where applicable).
• A 7-day free trial is offered to new subscribers. No card is charged during the trial.
• After the trial, your card is charged monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time via Settings → Manage Subscription.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• All billing is processed by Stripe under their terms.
• If your payment fails we may downgrade your account to the Free tier.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you put into the app (goals, habits, notes, voice recordings, etc.). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content solely so we can operate the service for you.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Use the service to store or generate unlawful, harassing or infringing material.
• Impersonate anyone or misuse the accountability-partner feature.
• Share your account credentials with third parties.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that AI outputs will be accurate, complete or suitable for any particular purpose. You should not rely on the app for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or life-critical decisions.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
